Mobile Media Marketing

Mobile media marketing is advertising on a device that lots of people have access to.

Advertisements to capture the audience’s attention
If nobody wants to see the film, everything else is pointless
Choose traditional or digital media to make a statement, or blending the two to create something unique

Key art = A single, quality piece of art to promote an idea or product
Teaser = using a related key character or icon to advertise something
  • Redundant themes or images can reduce the impact
Tagline = A motto to remember the show by
Ambiguity = Showing two things at once through symbolism (faces in the bites around the apple core, people in the shape of skulls, etc)
Metaphor = Symbolism to show a point/what the product is about
Homage = A reference or tribute to another person or piece of work
Rogue elements = Showing the audience something they don’t expect to tell a story (similar to juxtaposition)

  • Vertical posters make use of our brain’s tracking
  • Triangular layout points to the title
  • Fonts to convey a tone

Advertising thought process
  • What do you want to say?
  • How do you want to say it?
  • Who are you talking to?
